Thank you for your concern and well wishes.

In a way it was lucky that happened on Chinese New Year where everything everywhere every shops were closed. CNY in predominant Chinese countries will be like your Christmas, New Year, Easter and Bastille Day all rolled into one.

That was why I had to rely on nature and nature alone. In the photo, especially even more gory photos in the Flickr folder, Jackie muscles were clearly exposed. I nearly wanted to suture that tear in the skin, and I would have if shops were opened to buy those needles and sutures.

I was really surprised at how rapid the wound healed as can be seen from the photos. On the 3rd day, day of report, the edges of the skin drew together already.
And by today, it was even better than yesterday.

I can only guess if a bird is healthy and given exercises , the bird can heal himself.

The sad part  to Jackie is that since he is so well on the path to recovery, I be cutting his diet back to 30 JM & 30 FP instead of the 45 JM & 45 JM for the past few days.

But he is out often with me today and getting all the wonderful bread morsels playing and flying to me.

His own good is my primary concern.  Even if he trust me less after that mattered little to me.
All the shops were closed and I could not do anything.

The more you try to stop, the more you have a chance to do it.
I've never try to stop smoking... I should !!! If you pass through the 3rd month, I will  :pendu:

What I meant in the other post is maybea Jackie healt faster without doing anything. I'm not sure of course...
