As you are very generous not only in text but in fotos too, I leave you a little pictures of my birds, Mauresque et Fergus, couple of alexandrine parots.
They are very clever and friendly with all the family.

Moreover, I was wondering ? Why do you think about having only one bird ??
I guess you have a lot of time for your animals but did you have several birds in the same time yet ?

You have a beautiful flock.  I visited a friend in New Zealand who had an Alexandrine.  The grace of the flight, like a dolphin weaving in the air up and down, was breath taking.

In my present circumstances where I might have to leave, I cannot have more than one bird.  Even at that, you know I chose birds that are local and can be released if I cannot find anyone to care for the bird outside the cage and be allowed to fly.  You know not many people can do that.

Perhaps one day when I know I will be permanent in a place that I like, I will then have many birds.

Jackie is a Greater Indian Hill Mynah(Gracula religiosa intermedia).  I am sure you can find what that is called in French with the help of the Latin scientific name.
He is a sub specie of mainate.

For the moment I'm translating the story when tou lost Tinkerbell. I didn't finished yet so I don't evven know the end of the story myself.
To me, it's gripping and I think it will be the same for the other people.

When I wrote of the loss of Tinkerbell at BanTienYen, I wrote that as a memorial to her.
I thought she had died, and her spirit came to me in a dream during my search for her.
I was so broken hearted when I woke up.  I cried and cried.  I refused to give up the search
for her.  I continued on as a act of atonement.  Which ended up with Tinkerbell recovery as later explained
in a later report.

That report is a lot easier to read now as obviously, Tinkerbell was recovered and came back to all of us.

At that time when that was first written, that was very difficult for Tinkerbell friends all over the world to read.
And even more difficult for me to write.

I will finish the translation, at least for me.
If you prefer that I don't put it in the forum I understand but I think that would make people think twice before doing free flight without the help of someone who know.
Now I know that the end of the story will make me cry too  :icon_cry:

When I wrote to you about free flight, you recalled how much I stressed that you should read of that BanTienYen incident.  All who think about free flights should read the accidents that I encountered. 

People who only think good things and happy things must also bear in mind bad things and nightmares can happen too.

I was lucky to have Tinkerbell back, and Riamfada too.

Feel free to post that translation that you have done here and send that to your friends.

I tried to learn French, but that is a very difficult language for me.  I would love to read The Count of Monte Cristo and  Les Liaisons dangereuses   in French.
